YOU CAN'T JUST WAVE A WAND AND PACK YOUR CLUB.....

Your Club is dying, your crowds are gone, your promotions don't work,
giving away free drinks is killing you, you stopped charging cover, your
competition is slamming you.
This was the e-mail I received in late August from a Club Owner, and
then he said "OK Rich do your stuff." My stuff? I
don't have a magic wand, and this isn't a magic show. Clubs put
themselves into corners by ignoring the obvious and living on their
past. When you don't change, modify, and conform, you lose touch and
your club suffers.
Stop giving every drink away at ridiculous prices just to fill the
club, stop lowering your cover charge, stop the panic mode and get into
the profit mood.
I have never seen so many clubs complain about the competition, and yet
do nothing to combat them, but give away the house. If your burnt
out call me, if your club is getting killed by the competition call me.
If your radio spots suck, call me. If your newly launched promotion
crashed and burned, call me. Don't let your club fall into the fatal
pit of abyss.
These are tough times economically and they call for strong promotions,
creative advertising and above all a solid strategy.
I had a Club Owner from Tenn. call me, his club is huge he has invested
over a million cool cash in it and he is experiencing a major downward
spiral. He has a good DJ, but a lousy game plan. He has all
the bells and whistles, but a dismal way of presenting his format. I
have to crack up and LMAO when I read in an industry publication of some
so called Nightclub Expert say "People throw duffel bags of cash at
me to
help turn their clubs around."
What Owner would throw bags of cash at some Consultant to come in and
turn their club around. If your the Owner, Please email me I want to
check your urine for drugs.
Then there are the Books 100 ways to pack your club. Sure they
are and I am Elvis... I mean come on, no book with a generic content can
apply specifically to your Community, your club, your patrons, your
situation.
One of the biggest rip offs are Radio Remotes, unless your Mancow, or
Stern or Opie and Anthony, why would any club pay for some DJ to do phone
ins from the club. First you have to pay the Radio Station for the
spots, then you have to pay the JOCK what they call "talent" and
what I call extortion.
Remotes cost $1500 to $3000 and are worthless, because there is no way
you can recover your marketing dollars and pay the "JOCK" and
cover your nut for the night and show any great bottom line.
No way, NO day, No hay..........
There is no "magic wand" but there is "The Man" and
that is me, when you realize you need the best of the best and you can
