  For the 40th Straight Year, I am writing my "NEW PROMOLUTIONS", for you to grasp, then get them on !
 For too long, you have been set in your ways, you have been stubborn, refusing to embrace change. But time has passed you buy.
 When "OUTBACK" built their new "Prototype", their first one, that is now the current Structure, Layout, Design, and Look for "OUTBACK STEAKHOUSES", within a year or two of completion, the Managing Partner who started with this location, who built it up and became the face of the location, was gone.
 Nothing negative was said about him, his name removed from above the front entrance, a new name installed and a new Managing Partner took over.
 But, whatever the reasons, this new Managing Partner was a smooth transition. He had all the" NEW new "PROMOLUTIONS in place. The Look, The Layout, The Menu, The fired up Staff, the Promotions, that they never ever offered before, They did it right.
 Now, I don't expect you as an Owner to go to such extremes, but I suggest you take this action to heart and review your entire bar, restaurant, club, sports bar, bar & grille, gentleman's club, beach bar, hotel bar, banquet room, what are you doing that is outdated, what are you doing that is the wrong way to do it, what are you missing, what is your competition doing that is hurting your biz?
 All of these "PROMOLUTIONS" ARE JUST WHAT YOU NEED TO DO !
SO NOW, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, READ EM, & MAKE EM !!!

YOU SHOULD MAKE A NEW PROMOLUTION TO REVIEW YOUR ENTIRE STAFF & THEIR POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, vs ANY NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR , ATTITUDE, OR  PERSONAL CHALLENGES THAT AFFECT THEIR ABILITY TO GIVE 100% TO THEIR JOB FOR YOU.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO STOP PUTTING THE FOCUS ON DRINK SPECIALS, ON CHEAP BEER, ON LADIES DRINK CHEAP OR FREE, AND WEIGH THE PANIC PRICE PROMOTING vs A NEW APPROACH TO YOUR FORMAT.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO REVIEW ALL OF YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA, ALL OF YOUR PAID ADVERTISING, RADIO, NEWSPAPER, PRINT PUBLICATIONS, COUPONS, BARTERING.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION IF YOUR A "BREWPUB" AND EXPAND TO BE A "BREWDANCEPUB", DON'T JUST FEATURE BANDS, BUT ENHANCE YOUR FORMAT WITH DANCING. TOO MANY BREWPUBS TOTALLY MISS OUT ON TAKING THEIR FORMAT TO THE NEXT LEVEL, APPEALING TO FAR MORE WOMEN, AND GENERATING A LOT MORE REVENUE.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO BOOK TRIBUTE BANDS, HERE ARE SOME OF THE BEST, WHEN THE ROUTING IS COMING YOUR WAY,
PRESENT " THE SHINDIGS", ( BEACH BOYS TRIBUTE), "CARIBBEAN CHILLERS" ( JIMMY BUFFET TRIBUTE BAND ), "US STONES" ( ROLLING STONES TRIBUTE BAND ), "MOTLEY 2", ( MOTLEY CREW TRIBUTE BAND ),
"YVAD" ( BOB MARLEY TRIBUTE BAND ) "RUMOURS", ( FLEETWOOD MAC TRIBUTE BAND ).

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO CHANGE UP YOUR FORMAT, YOUR STUCK IN A RUT, YOUR ENTIRE NIGHTLY CONCEPTS ARE SO
PREDICTABLE, SO STALE, SO BORING, IT'S TIME REINVENT, REINVIGORATE
YOUR NIGHTS.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO CLEAN HOUSE OF ALL EMPLOYEES WHO ARE NOT TEAM PLAYERS. WHO ARE LATE TO WORK CONSTANTLY, WHO CURSE IN FRONT OF EMPLOYEES, WHO DON'T HAVE PERSONAL HYGIENE, WHO ARE ALWAYS HITTING ON OTHER EMPLOYEES,
WHO ARE QUESTIONABLE IN THEIR HONESTY.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION, TO LOOK @ WHO YOUR CUSTOMER IS, HOW MANY WOMEN vs MEN DO YOU HAVE NIGHTLY, WHAT DRINK & BEER SPECIALS ARE YOU BAR BEGGING TO BRING IN PATRONS , WHO DON'T SPEND, BUT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CHEAP TO DRINK SPECIALS.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO CREATE A "LOYALTY PROGRAM", YOU NEED TO REWARD YOUR REGULARS FOR BEING GOOD CUSTOMERS.
"REWARD PLEASERS", ARE SO EASY TO IMPLEMENT, THEY CREATE A BOND WITH YOUR GOOD CUSTOMERS, THAT KEEPS THEM COMING BACK FAR MORE OFTEN AND SPENDING MORE AS WELL.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO PROMOTE SPECIAL NIGHTS, A FULL 30 DAYS NO LESS. THIS LAST MINUTE ATTEMPT @ GENERATING
CUSTOMERS, IS A PATHETIC, LAZY, LAME WAY OF REACHING OUT TO GENERATE A CROWD.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO LOOK @ YOUR ENTIRE INTERIOR, EXTERIOR, REST ROOMS, BAR TOP, ICE MAKER, BEER COOLERS, KITCHEN
EQUIPMENT, FLOORS, AND IT'S TIME TO STOP OPERATING WITH SO MUCH THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW LEASE ON EQUIPMENT, WITH
BARTERING OUT NEW FLOORS, BAR TOPS, AND ANY OTHER INDEPENDENT
CARPENTERS, ELECTRICIANS, PLUMBERS, WILL TAKE A TAB FOR DRINK OR FOR FOOD AND DRINK.

YOU SHOULD MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO STOP OFFERING THE SAME BASIC BEERS ON BOTH TAP & IN THE BOTTLE.
RATHER, MAKE A DECISION AND REPLACE THAT DRAFT HEAD WITH A NEW CRAFT BEER.
THE DAYS OF "DUPLICATION OF THE SAME BRAND" ARE OVER.
IT'S NOW TIME TO CARRY AS MANY DIVERSE BEERS AS POSSIBLE.
NO CUSTOMER IS GOING TO WALK OUT, BECAUSE YOU ONLY OFFER THEIR BEER IN BOTTLE OR DRAFT, BUT NOT BOTH.
YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR BEER CHOICE, EXPAND YOUR BEER SELECTION.
TRY TO FIND A BEER BREWERY THAT WILL PUT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT'S NAME ON THE CAN, AND ALLOW YOU TO FEATURE YOUR VERY OWN "BRAND OF BEER".
NOW THAT IS A REAL ICE COLD SERVE.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION THAT FROM "UBER EATS" TO "GRUB HUB" YOU WILL NOW OFFER "DELIVERY" FOR LUNCH AND DINNER.
THE KEY IS IN THE PACKAGING.
THE OLD WAYS OF STYROFOAM IS OVAH !!!!
"DELIVERY" IS NOW TAKING 20% AWAY FROM SIT DOWN DINING.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO INSTITUTE A DRESS CODE, YOU WANT CIVILITY, YOU WANT WOMEN TO FEEL SAFE AND SECURE IN YOUR PLACE, DO NOT
ALLOW THOSE THAT HAVE LITTLE SELF ESTEEM, AND DRESS LIKE SLOBS.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO REPLACE YOUR OUTDOOR SIGNS WITH NEW BULBS, NEW LETTERS, SINCE SOME BULBS ARE BURNT OUT AND YOUR LETTERS ARE ALL FADED OUT.
PAINT THE SIGN POLE.
MAKE THE AREA AROUND YOUR SIGN ATTRACTIVE WITH EASY TO DO LANDSCAPE, LAWN, MULCH, STONES, TAKE YOUR PICK.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO GET RID OF THE VIDEO, ARCADE, AND TECH GAMES THAT ARE OUTDATED, NOT BEING PLAYED, NOT GENERATING INCOME AND SIMPLY TAKING UP SPACE. PUT IN FRESH NEW GAMES.
IF YOUR CURRENT GAME SUPPLIER IS LAZY IN GETTING IT DONE, FIND
ANOTHER VENDOR TO WORK WITH. THIS IS NO TIME TO WASTE OR DELAY.

MAKE A PPROMOLUTION TO REVIEW WHAT YOUR COMPETITION IS DOING AND HOW EFFECTIVE IT IS, HOW BUSY THEIR NIGHTS ARE, WHOM THEY ARE ATTRACTING AND FOR HOW LONG DO THEIR CUSTOMERS STAY?
THEN PLAN AN AGGRESSIVE STRATEGY TO EMPTY THEM OUT WITH
"WOW FACTORS", THAT NOBODY IN YOUR AREA HAS EVEN THOUGHT OF,
LET ALONE PRESENTED.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO HIRE A DJ WHO PLAYS WHAT YOUR VENUE WANTS, AND NEVER EVER TO SPIN FOUL MOUTH MUSIC. NOR EVER TO USE FOUL MOUTH LANGUAGE ON THE MIC, WHICH SHOULD BE A WIRELESS MIC, AND ANY DJ IN A BOOTH, YOU SHOULD TEAR DOWN THE BOOTH AND HAVE YOUR DJ ACCESSIBLE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO HIRE BANDS THAT ARE NOT LOCAL, THAT PLAY EVERYWHERE. BOOK BANDS THAT ARE UNIQUE, AND FROM OUT OF TOWN, BOOK THEM WITH AN EXCLUSIVE AREA, SUCH AS 25 MILES, SO THAT YOU HAVE A TRUE LOCK ON THEIR GIGS IN YOUR GREATER AREA. THE REASON IS, SO THAT YOU DRAW PEOPLE FROM THAT FAR AWAY, IF THEY ARE THAT GOOD, WHICH THEY SHOULD BE, OR YOU SHOULD NOT BOOK THEM.
I HAD BOOKED BANDS IN MY CLUB FROM 3000 MILES AWAY, AND THEY MADE ME MONEY, HAND OVER FIST.

MAKE A PROMOLUTION TO CREATE A " BEER GARDEN ", A "PARTY PATIO", AN OUTSIDE AREA, THAT YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN GRAVITATE TO, AND ENJOY AS WELL AS YOUR INTERIOR.

 

MAKE A PROMOLUTION, TO REALIZE THAT THIS INDUSTRY HAS CHANGED, AND THAT UNLESS YOU MOVE PAST IT, YOU WILL FIND IT SPEEDING PAST YOU.
